IDF closes main exit of Aboud to traffic following Friday's stabbing attack
IDF forces have closed to traffic the central exit from the Palestinian village of Aboud in the direction of the settlement of Halamish, following a stabbing attack at the site on Friday afternoon. An Israeli soldier was lightly wounded in the attack. The second exit from the village, in the direction of Route 5 which cuts across the northern West Bank, remains open.
The IDF has not yet closed off the entrance to the village of Silwad next to Ramallah, which was the scene of a vehicular attack on Friday that lightly wounded two IDF soldiers, because of ongoing riots in the area.
