WATCH: North American olim try sufganiot for the first time

New immigrants of all ages taste different versions of the Hannukah treat, trying to figure out how many hours of gym time they'd need to work it off and comparing it to the American doughnut.

North American olim are no strangers to doughnuts, but for their first Hanukkah in Israel, Nefesh B'Nefesh decided to introduce them to the Israeli sufgania.

The NGO produced a Buzzfeed-style taste-testing video, giving a group of new immigrants a series of different sufganiot, from the traditional jelly and powdered sugar sufgania to exotic looking ones topped with a variety of flavors invented by Israeli bakeries for the holiday.

The youngest olim to participate in the tasting are four-year-old Noam and Eitan, while the oldest was 90-year-old Joseph, a Holocaust survivor who made aliyah to be close to his lone soldier grandson.
