Wanted Lebanese man blows himself up during army raid
BEIRUT - A man wanted by Lebanese authorities blew himself up during an army raid on his apartment in Deiremar on Saturday, killing himself and two relatives in northern Lebanon.
Seven soldiers, including two officers, were wounded as the man identified as Mohammad Hamza lobbed grenades at the raiding unit before detonating his suicide belt.
An army statement said Hamza was wanted on several charges, including firing on a Lebanese army patrol last year.
