Knife-wielding Palestinian woman arrested in Hebron; none hurt
A knife-wielding Palestinian woman was arrested on Saturday at a checkpoint near the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hebron.
Border Police and police forces at the Tzalbanit checkpoint instructed the woman, who appeared suspicious to them, to stop. As they were conducting a routine security check, they noticed that she was holding a knife.
The 18-year-old from the village of Bayt Fajar was detained and taken for questioning.
No one was hurt in the incident.
