Zoabi goes for plea deal: avoids incitment charge

MK Hanin Zoabi has reached a plea deal with the prosecution, which will allow her to avoid an incitement charge. The MK will have to admit to defaming a public employ, send a letter of apology, and pay a NIS 3,000 fine. She will ask incur a three conditional jail term. The plea deal has yet to be presented to the court.

In July of 2014, Zoabi verbally attacked Arab police officers, and cursed at them at a court house in Nazareth.
