Palestinian opens fires at Jalamah checkpoint; none hurt

A Palestinian attacker opened fire at the Jalamah checkpoint near Jenin in the West Bank late Friday morning.

Israeli security forces returned fire and hit the shooter; his condition is currently unclear. He was then captured by Palestinian police.

No one was hurt on the Israeli side and no damage was caused to the checkpoint.
