The winter storm that began on Saturday night was not consistent across Israel, leaving some areas completely dry, while others received heavy rainfall and hail.
The hail was so heavy in the Mitzpe Ramon area that the ground remained blanketed in white for nearly an hour.
The rains also managed to cause flooding in certain areas of the Negev, shutting down roads near the Dead Sea.
The rains are expected to continue overnight, accompanied by scattered thunder and hail storms. Flood warnings have been issued for the eastern and southern river basins.
