A former Bosnian police commander, Milan Bogdanovic, was arrested in Srebrenica last Wednesday as part of the prosecutor's investigation on suspicion of taking part in the 1995 massacre of Muslims in the west Bosnian village.
Bogdanovic, 65, is suspected of being part of a "mass criminal enterprise" which was responsible for the summary execution of 8,000 men and boys and the expulsion of 40,000 Muslim civilians from the Srebrenica enclave, according to the prosecutor in charge of the investigation into Bosnian war crimes.
