Former PMO official questioned by police earlier this week named as Ari Harow

Ari Harow, an American-born Israeli businessman and the former chief of staff at the Prime Minister's Office, is the official that was questioned by police under advisement earlier this week, it was cleared for publication on Wednesday.
On Monday, Channel 2's Amnon Abramovich reported that Harow is suspected of acting in a manner that raises a conflict of interests with regards to a company he owned. He is also suspected of breach of trust and fraudulently obtaining benefits. Police suspect his unlawful conduct continued for a long period of time, and that this was not an isolated incident.
Harow resigned from the PMO in 2010 due to an illness. He was hospitalized for a long period of time and returned to work upon his release, but further medical tests determined he was not completely well, and he decided to leave his post.
