Palestinian tries to stab soldiers in Huwara; shot and killed

A Palestinian ran towards a group of soldiers wielding a knife at Huwara junction in the West Bank. He was shot and killed. None on the Israeli side were hurt.

Soldiers were conducting routine security activity near the West Bank village of Huwara when they approached a Palestinian to question him. The Palestinian ran toward the soldiers wielding a knife, and they shot and killed him.

Palestinian security officials identified the killed Palestinian as 16-year-old Abdallah Nasarah.
