Mayor of Ashkelon arrested on suspicion of rape

Mayor of Ashkelon Itamar Shimoni was arrested on Tuesday morning on suspicion of rape. Shimoni's brother was also arrested along with two business owners, who are suspected among other things of bribery and corruption.
