ISTANBUL - An explosion rocked the central Istanbul Sultanahmet square, a major tourist attraction, on Tuesday, causing some casualties, the Dogan news agency reported.
Witnesses reported hearing a loud blast and video footage on the CNN Turk channel showed police and ambulances at the scene. The cause of the explosion was not immediately clear.
