Terror attack foiled near Beit Einun; terrorist killed; no Israelis hurt
A 17-year-old Palestinian attacker tried to stab a Givati soldier near Beit Einun on Tuesday, but was shot dead before he was able to attack.
The attacker arrived at the Beit Einun junction on Highway 60 with his car, exited the car and approached a patrol of Givati soldiers with a knife drawn. He was shot and killed by the soldiers.
A 21-year-old was shot dead near the village of Beit Jala, just outside of Bethlehem, in clashes with Israeli troops after hurling stones at troops.
