Netanyahu responds to comments of US ambassador: 'Unacceptable and incorrect'
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded to the comments of US Ambassador to Israel Dan Shapiro during his speech at a security conference on Monday, saying: "The ambassador's statements, on a day on which a murdered mother six has been buried, and on a day on which a pregnant woman has been stabbed, are unacceptable and incorrect," Netanyahu wrote in his response.
"Israel applies the law to Israelis and Palestinians. The Palestinian Authority is responsible for the freeze in the political process and continues to incite while refusing to negotiate."
In his speech, Shapiro had accused Israel of applying two standards of law in the West Bank - one for Israelis and one for Palestinians.
