US businessman to donate over $100 million in scholarships in US, Israel
American businessman Mortimer Zuckerman launched a new scholarship program called STEM on Monday, which will support both American and Israeli students in the fields of sciences, technology, engineering, and math.
The program will give American researchers in their post-doctorate and doctorate stages the opportunity to cooperate with leading researchers from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, the Technion, Tel Aviv University and the Weizmann Institute of Science.
Zuckerman said he will give grants worth $100 million over the next 20 years.
