Right-wing organization apologizes for 'moles in the arts' campaign
Right-wing movement Im Tirtzu on Friday published an apology on its Facebook page regarding its new "moles in the arts" campaign, which drew criticism from across the political spectrum when it was unveiled earlier in the week.
"Dear friends, we made a mistake. We uploaded an erroneous post on a very important and essential subject and precisely because of that we should have taken more care," the post said. "This wasn't a 'campaign,' and there was no talk of 'traitors.'"
The post also thanked those who pointed out the organization's mistake to them.
The campaign revolved around naming different artists and culural figures who had been identified as holding left-wing opinions.
