Court extends remand of Palestinian who tried to evade Border Police
The Jerusalem Magistrate's Court on Sunday extended the remand by five days of Mohammed Badar, the Palestinian who hit a Border Police jeep the previous day while trying to escape the officers.
Three Border Policemen were lightly hurt in the incident.
Investigation of the incident found Badar, who was transporting two illegal Palestinian workers, ignored police instructions to stop, drove in reverse and hit the Border Police jeep.
