Explosion hits military convoy in southeast Turkey, some wounded

DIYARBAKIR - An explosion hit a military convoy in southeast Turkey on Thursday, and some people were wounded, security sources said, a day after a car bomb attack in the Turkish capital of Ankara killed 28 people.

 

The sources said the explosion hit the convoy on the highway linking Diyarbakir, the largest city in the mainly Kurdish southeast, to the district of Lice.
