El Al plane grounded in Amsterdam over accident
An El Al plane that was scheduled to take off from Amsterdam to Israel on Friday morning was grounded over an accident. None of the 150 passengers and crewmembers was hurt.
While being towed off the runaway, the plane's wing hit a fence and broke.
An initial check found that the accident occurred because of heavy fog in the area.
After being deplaned, the passengers were taken to hotels in the city, and they're expected to fly back to Israel only after Shabbat.
