Abbas and Kerry meet in Amman

According to a Maan News Agency report, Palestinian President Mahmoud and US Secretary of State John Kerry met in Amman on Sunday. 

Nabil Abu Rudeinah, a PA spokesperson, said that Abbas discussed recent developments with Kerry and emphasized the importance of finding a mechanism to hold an international peace conference along the lines of the P5+1 model.

Abu Rudeinah also said Kerry made clear that the US is exerting great efforts to make sure that the two-state solution remains a possibility.
