Sia to perform in Israel

Australian singer-songwriter who sang mega-hits 'Chandelier' and 'Titanium' and whose performances are often intriguingly eccentric will play in Israel on August 11 at 'Live Park' in Rishon LeZion.

Sia, the Australian singer-songwriter and one of the most popular artists in the world right now, is coming to perform in Israel this summer. 

 

 

It concert will take place on August 11, at Live Park in Rishon LeZion. Tickets start at NIS 299 and go up to NIS 799. The first day tickets will become available will be at 1:00pm on Tuesday, February 23.

 

The Australian musician, born Sia Kate Isobelle Furler, began garnering attention for her work with electronic ensemble Zero 7, and later for collaborations with DJ and producer David Guetta, all the while releasing solo albums.

 

In March 2014, "Chandelier", from her sixth album, became a monster hit, partly propelled by the music video, which featured 11-year-old dancer Maddie Ziegler and has, as of February 2016, been viewed more than a billion times on YouTube.

Sia, who usually wears a mask in her public appearances and concerts, continued to find success with follow-up singles "Elastic Heart" and "Big Girls Cry". She has written songs for several artists over the years, including Rihanna, for whom she wrote the mega-hit "Diamonds".

 

She has also written for Christina Aguilera, Eminem, Flo Rida, Afrojack, Jennifer Lopez, Shakira, Kylie Minogue, Katy Perry, Kesha, Rita Ora, Britney Spears, Jessie J, and Celine Dion. In 2014, she made the list of Australia's 100 wealthiest people under 40, according to BRW Magazine.
