2 vehicular attacks near Kiryat Arba; three terrorists shot dead
Two armed terrorists tried to run over Israelis Monday morning at a hitchhiking stop near Kiryat Arba in the West Bank, and were shot dead by IDF fighters. A soldier was slightly wounded; a few minutes later there was another vehicular attack at the same stop, 3 soldiers were lightly wounded; the terrorist was shot dead.
Two vehicular attacks took place within minutes Monday morning at a hitchhiking stop near the settlement of Kiryat Arba in the West Bank. Four IDF soldiers were lightly wounded and all three terrorists were shot dead.
The first vehicular attack was carried out by two armed terrorists who tried to run over Israelis who were waiting a hitchhiking stop near Elias Junction near Kiryat Arba. The terrorists also tried to shoot the people there. IDF soldiers guarding the stop shot and killed both terrorists. One soldier was lightly wounded from shrapnel.
The wounded soldier was treated by Magen David Adom Medics at the scene and was sent to Shaare Tsedek Medical Center in Jerusalem.
The terrorists, armed with a pistol and a Carl Gustaf submachine gun, were Amir Al-Juneidi, 22, and Qasem Farid Jaber, 31, from Hebron.
While soldiers were active at the scene of the attack another Palestinian car ran over an IDF officer and lightly wounded him.
The terrorist, Yusef Tarayra, 18, was shot to death. Two soldiers were lightly wounded by shrapnel.
