National Insurance Institute workers go on strike starting Sunday
The workers' union at the National Insurance Institute announced Saturday that it was going on strike starting Sunday morning.
The union said the decision to go on strike came after Police Commissioner Roni Alsheikh announced police officers will no longer be stationed outside National Insurance Institute offices, a move backed by the attorney general.
