Egypt: Golan occupied territory

The Egyptian foreign ministry responded to Netanyahu's comments made on Monday in which he vowed that the Golan Heights would always remain in Israeli hands.

"The Golan is inseparable from Syrian territory that was occupied by Israel in the 1967 war." The statement also lambasted Netanyahu's stance as "a violation of fundamental international law and international legitimacy which is demonstrated by the UN security council and the general assembly."
