Hamas firing mortars at soldiers destroying cross border tunnels

The IDF stated that Hamas mortars are being fired from Gaza at IDF troops searching for Hamas terror tunnels crossing from Gaza into Israel.

Security officials said "we have responded strongly, and we have also sent Hamas strongly worded messages."

Additionally, the IDF announced that all agricultural work in the fields along the border with Gaza must be put on hold. The hold on agricultural work affects all the fields in the entire Gaza border vicinity.
