Supreme court orders returning terrorists' bodies to families

An attorney representing the families of terrorists from East Jerusalem, whose bodies are being held by Israel, told Ynet on Thursday that a petition to the Supreme Court to secure their release has been approved.

The police and the Ministry of Public Security have, until now, refused to return the terrorists' bodies unless the families agreed to meet certain conditions.

The decision was taken after the state removed previous objections. The court recommended to the sides that the the bodies be returned before the commencement of the month of Ramadan.
