Muslim girl leaves Nazi-style sign at the entrance of Temple Mount

A 17-year-old girl was stopped and questioned by police on Thursday after she placed a sign at the entrance to the Temple Mount which read: “Entry of Jews and dogs is forbidden,” in Hebrew and German. The act was apparently a protest against the closure of the compound to visitors due to an Islamic religious event.
The offense, committed on Holocaust Remembrance Day, may have been calculated to replicate similar signs displayed in Nazi Germany in public places: “No Jews allowed. All dogs to be kept on a leash.”
