BEIJING- The number of people missing in a landslide in China's southeastern Fujian province has risen to 41, Xinhua news agency said on Sunday, citing local officials.
Xinhua said earlier that 34 people were missing after the landslide triggered by heavy rain hit a hydroelectric power station that was under construction on Sunday.
Seven people were injured, the agency said, and President Xi Jinping had demanded that county officials step up rescue efforts.
