200 families feared buried by mudslides in Sri Lanka

The Sri Lankan Red Cross said that rescuers have been searching for more than 200 families feared to be buried by mudslides triggered by heavy rainfall on Tuesday night in three Sri Lankan villages.
Military spokesman Brig. Jayanath Jayaweera said 16 bodies have been recovered, as well as some 150 people who survived the landslides that cascaded over their villages.
According to the Sri Lankan Red Cross, at least 200 families are still missing.
