Coalition talks make overnight breakthrough
At the end of a meeting between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon and Yisrael Beytenu Chairman Avigdor Lieberman, the three finally reached an understanding on the conditions under which the latter will enter the government.
During the meeting, which went on for over an hour, the three discussed the subjects which have thus far delayed the completion of the talks. Given the new developments, it is expected that today Netanyahu will officially sign a deal which will bring Lieberman into the coalition where he will fill the defense minister's portfolio.
