Palestinian ambassador to Egypt says Egyptian peace initiative nothing new

The Palestinian ambassador in Cairo has said that the Egyptian peace initiative does not clash with the French initiative and that it does not constitute an alternative. His comments came ahead of Mahmoud Abbas’ visit to Cairo scheduled for the end of the week during which he will meet with foreign ministers of the Arab League.
