Reports indicate prosecution will ask for harsher sentence for signer Kobi Peretz
Israeli prosecutors intend on appealing singer Kobi Peretz’s two-year jail sentence for tax evasion.
Peretz was convicted of false reports to the Israeli tax authorities in the years 2005-2009, and of evading taxes for incomes of about NIS 5.8. He has previously said that he intends to appeal his conviction.
