Libyan militias battling Islamic State militants say they have seized a radio station and a mosque in the extremist group's last remaining bastion in the North African country.
The media center for the Libyan militias issued a statement claiming the victories and saying 18 militiamen and dozens of IS militants were killed in fierce fighting Tuesday in Sirte, the only city outside Syria and Iraq to have been taken over by IS.
