RIYADH- Saudi Arabia's Interior Ministry says police have shot to death a wanted man in the country's predominantly Shiite east.
An Interior Ministry statement carried early Thursday by the state-run Saudi Press Agency identified the dead man as Abdul-Rahim Ali Abdul-Rahim al-Faraj.
The ministry said the raid Wednesday in Awwamiya saw the suspects open fire first. It said the shootout wounded no civilians or security force members.
