MONTREAL - The World Anti-Doping Agency has hired Benjamin Cohen as director of its European office.
Cohen, who starts work in Lausanne on Nov. 1, is currently head of governance and legal affairs for basketball governing body FIBA.
WADA issued a statement saying Cohen will "reinforce WADA's mission by ensuring that anti-doping programs are compliant with the World Anti-Doping Code and the agency's objectives are successfully met."
Cohen takes over from Frederic Donze, who will become WADA's chief operating officer in October.
