Al Arabiya: Netanyahu open to Cairo summit with Abbas

The Saudi-owned Al Arabiya news network has reported that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has expressed willingness to meet with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas at a possible summit in Cairo. Netanyahu reportedly expressed this willingness during a meeting with Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry.
The PM’s office responded to the report by stating, “Whether this is being discussed or not, Israel always says it is ready to directly negotiate, bilaterally, and without preconditions.”
