Young Israeli man in need of kidney transplant for third time
21-year-old Moshiko Sharon is in need of a new kidney, a decade after his last transplant surgery. 30 people have already volunteered to be donors, but were rejected for various reasons.
A decade after going through his second kidney transplant, 21-year-old Moshiko Sharon is once again in need. Sharon went through his first transplant at age 9, and received his second donated kidney two years later.
Now, a decade later, he’s forced to go back on the waiting list. “There were 30 people who wanted to donate, but all were rejected for various reasons. I need a kidney from (a living donor) and hope that a kidney for me will be found soon.”
Sharon is currently going through dialysis daily, and has been for the past six months. Having gone through 20 surgeries in his life, Sharon is now pleading with the public to help him regain his health. “All I want is a normal life,” he said.
