IDF Chief Rabbi candidate clarifies: "There is no permit to sexually harm women"

Head of the IDF's Manpower Directorate Maj. Gen. Hagai Topolansky summoned the Israeli military's intended chief Rabbi, Col. Eyal Karim, to discuss the recent publication of comments Karim made in the past, regarding the rape of women in wartime.
Karim clarified his stance to Topolansky, saying, "There is no permit to sexually harm women, neither in peacetime nor wartime." He added that he supports and believes in the recruitment of women into the IDF.
