US-born soldier killed by grenade to be buried

The funeral of Sgt. Shlomo Rindenow, killed Sunday from a grenade explosion, is due to take place on Monday.

Rindenow will be buried at 4PM at the Yesodot/Netzer Chazani cemetery. Rindenow was a lone soldier who had made Aliyah from the US, who is survived by his parents and nine brothers and sisters. He was standing nearby when a grenade held by reserve soldier Staff Sgt. Husam Tafash exploded under mysterious circumstances.
