Gov't approves: Religious schools no longer have to teach core subjects

Religious educational institutions will no longer have to teach core subjects, such as math and English, as a condition to receive state-funding after the government approved the change on Sunday.
The change was demanded by ultra-Orthodox party United Torah Judaism.
