Arab League expresses support for French peace initiative at summit

Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Aboul-Gheit, in a statement closing the League's summit in Mauritania, expressed its support for the French peace initiative.
In addition, Aboul-Gheit he expressed disapproval for outside intervention in the internal intervention of the affairs of the League's member states – especially at the hands of Iran.
