Report: Putin and Assad discussed possible agreement with Israel on Golan Heights in secret meeting
Senior diplomats reported that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad paid a secret visit to Moscow before Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s recent visit, according to a Lebanese newspaper.
The report claims that the two discussed possible solutions to the Syrian crisis as well as a possible agreement with Israel about the Golan Heights which was formed by a team headed by former President Bill Clinton.
