Police arrest all six suspects in gang rape case in India
The Indian police announced that it arrested all six suspects in the gang-rape case of a 24-year-old Israeli tourist who was travelling through northern state of Himachal Pradesh on Monday.
Two of the suspects are 20 and 21 years old while three other who were arrested were youths that were arrested on Wednesday. On Monday, the police announced that tey had already arrested two suspects.
The young girl is expected to go to the courts on Friday in order to identify the suspects. On Wednesday she provided her testimony about the incident before a judge.
The Israeli tourist reported on Sunday that she was gang raped in Manali when she was trying to get to the Spiti Valley. She was trying to find a taxi when a car with no license plates picked her up. There were six men in the car and two of them raped her before dropping her off in the town of Manali.
