2 killed, 3 seriously injured in car accident on route 66 in the Jezreel Valley

Two people were killed and three seriously injured in a collision between two cars on route 66 near the Meggido Junction in the Jezreel Valley on Thursday.
Three firefighting teams had to be called to the scene to extract three people who were trapped.
Following the accident, the west-bound route 66 was closed for traffic from the Megiddo Junction to the Givat Oz Junction.
