Hamas: if the PA continues to arrest our operatives, we will boycott local elections

Hamas threatened that if Palestinian security forces continue to arrest their operatives in the West Bank, they will boycott local elections and outlaw the Palestinian Authority in the Gaza Strip. 

The threat comes as there is an increase in arrests of Hamas activists, including senior members such as Nadar Sawafta, who serves as one of the organizers of local elections.
