Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman has approved several easing-of-conditions actions for Palestinians, ahead of next week's Eid al-Adha Muslim holiday. COGAT has announced that among these actions will be 100,000 visits to Israel by West Bank residents, the approval of visits to the Temple Mount for married men over the age of 45 and women over the age of 30, coordination of trips abroad through Ben Gurion Airport, and the granting of permits to foreign visitors to the West Bank.

In addition, religious observers from the Gaza Strip who are over the age of 60 will be allowed to come to the Temple Mount. The departure of Gazans from Ben Gurion airport will also be permitted. The working hours for crossings in the West Bank will be extended until 7pm during the holiday.
