Britain ready to help US-Russian Syria agreement work

British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson welcomed the US-Russian brokered cease-fire agreement on Syria in a telephone call with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov on Monday, reportedly saying London was ready to help make it work.
Johnson and Lavrov also reportedly agreed to meet on the sidelines of the annual United Nations General Assembly in New York this month.
