US and Israel reach min. $38 billion military aid deal

The United States and Israel have reached a final agreement on a military aid package to Israel of at least $38 billion. The agreement, which is slated to be signed within the next few days, stipulates that Israel will receive the military aid package over a period of ten years.

According to both Israeli and US  officials, the deal will represent the biggest pledge of US military assistance ever made to any country, but it also includes major concessions granted by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
