PA electric bill crisis reportedly solved

The Israeli Ministry of Finance, the COGAT, and the Palestinian Civil Affairs Minister Hussein al-Sheikh have reportedly signed an outline agreement for the resolution of the Palestinian Authority's debts to the Israel Electric Corporation (IEC). The debts currently stand at about NIS 2 billion (about $528 million).
The deal will include the establishment of a Palestinian government that will purchase electricity exclusively from the IEC, and will be responsible for the electrical consumption of Palestinian Authority residents.
