Artillery shell from British Mandate located and destroyed on Netanya beach.

Police received a report Wednesday that a suspicious object had been spotted on a beach in Netanya. Police sappers who arrived at the scene discovered a 155mm artillery shell from the the period of the British Mandate.
After concluding that the shell was dangerous, they destroyed it on site.
